Restaurants Open on Christmas

Finding a restaurant open on Christmas can be a challenge. There are several possibilities for you to consider before giving up and cooking at home.

Many Chinese, Japanese, and Korean restaurants stay open for Christmas. They're easy to find on Google maps. Just look them up and call ahead to be sure that they're open.

Another possibility is to check with the major hotels in your area. Almost all of them are open on Christmas, and most of them have restaurants on or near the facility. These restaurants tend to be a bit pricier than usual, but Christmas is a good time for something more upscale to treat yourself and your family to.

The next alternative is the chains restaurants. Here are some of the better possibilities.

Buca di Beppo Restaurants

Thinking that some Italian food would make for a nice Christmas Day lunch ot dinner? The Buca di Beppo restaurants are open at 11:00 am on Christmas Day in 2011.

Waffle House Restaurants

Waffle House restaurants are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Even Christmas.

Denny's Restaurants

There are thousands of Denny's restaurants, and their motto is "Our Door is Always Open."

IHOP Restaurants

Most of the nearly fifteen hundred IHOP restaurants are open on Christmas.

Starbucks Coffee Shops

Is Starbucks open on Christmas? Pretty much all of them.

McDonald's Restaurants

An increasing number of McDonald's restaurants are open on Christmas, but it's hit and miss. Call first.

7-Eleven

If none of these restaurants pan out, you can always stop at a 7-Eleven convenience store on the way home to gas up, and grab a hot dog and a Slurpee. Whatever happens, have a Merry Christmas!
