Open on Christmas Hotel Tips

Most hotels, both large and small, are open on Christmas Eve and open on Christmas Day. Larger hotels typically will have one or more restaurants or bars available for both guests and visitors alike. If guests can't get fed, there's a good chance that they won't be back to stay again, so hotels try to keep their restaurants open during all of the the holidays. However, just because they're open doesn't mean that they'll be open all day. Expect the hotel restaurants to have limited special hours on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. If you're looking for a more upscale dining experience this Christmas, your best bet is to call one of the better hotels in your area and have them connect you to their restaurant. This will give you a chance to find out their hours of operation during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as letting you make reservations if necessary. By the way, if you dine out on Christmas, remember to tip generously. The people who work that day deserve it.
