Palmdale Restaurants

Palmdale, California (one of several places that I've lived over the years) doesn't have any native palm trees. The original settlers thought that the local Joshua Trees were palm trees. They also called the area surrounding Palmdale the Antelope Valley because they couldn't tell the difference between deer and antelope. At least they didn't name the place Reindeer Valley.
